Power centers are intended for use as the main, in the absence of industrial network voltage or emergency, in the presence of industrial network voltage, an electric power source with a voltage of 10 (6) kV, to provide power to consumers: housing and communal services; shopping centers, office buildings, logistics centers; sports and recreation complexes; agricultural and industrial complex; objects of the oil and gas industry.

The power center consists of the following nodes and systems:

• gas piston or gas turbine unit;
• hot water boiler-utilizer;
• 0.4 kV switchgear for own needs of the power center and 10 kV switchgear;
• automated process control system;
• electric transformers;
• gas booster compressor;
• compressed air compressor;
• gas hot water boiler;
• pumping equipment;
• heat exchange equipment;
• chemical water treatment plant;
• gas control point;
• engine cooling system;
• shut-off and control valves;
• instrumentation;
• the chimney;
• gas pollution control system;
• security and fire alarm system;
• fire extinguishing system;
• supply and exhaust ventilation.
