The UPTPG fuel, starting and pulse gas preparation unit is a set of equipment tied with process pipelines equipped with shut-off, regulating, shut-off, safety valves, control and measuring devices. The UPTPG installation provides the following basic functions:
- purification of raw gas entering the plant from mechanical and liquid impurities;
- cooling of raw gas;
- separation of the liquid phase (hydrocarbon condensate and water);
- automatic condensate removal;
- gas heating before reduction;
- reducing high gas pressure to a given low pressure and maintaining it with a certain accuracy when changing the inlet pressure or gas flow;
- preparation (drying) of IG and storage;
- measurement and accounting of gas flow through the installation;
- automation of technological processes;
- measurement and control of air parameters.

The PGPT IRGIZ gas heater is designed to heat and automatically maintain a set temperature of natural, associated petroleum and artificial gases that do not contain aggressive impurities before throttling at gas distribution stations, compressor stations of main gas pipelines and for other consumers of warm gas in order to increase the reliability of technological equipment.
